ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA AS ON 1ST AUGUST 2017: DGCA Type Rated B1 licence to cover A320 family A/c A.
Qualification requirement for A320 Family Aircraft: Must possess DGCA Licence to certify In category B1 to cover A321/A320/A319 Aircraft fitted with IAE V2500 Engine or CFM 56-5B Engine. Candidates having qualification an A320 NEO aircraft with leap Engine will be given preference.
AGE LIMIT: General Category – Not above 45 year as on 01.08.2017, O.B.C. – Not above 48 year as on 01.08.2017, SC/ST – Not above 50 year as on 01.08.2017, Ex-Servicemen – Upper age limit of 45 years would be relaxed to the extent the candidate has served in a regular post in Army / Navy / Air Force before retirement / release or discharge from such post plus three years.
: The post carries an all-inclusive minimum consolidated pay of Rs. 95000/- (Ninety Five Thousand only) per month without any experience. However, the salary would be commensurate with qualification/scope of licence and continuity with experience / higher qualification / scope to exercise his/her licence on several types of aircraft or aircraft engine would be offered higher salary which may go to Rs. 1,80,000/- (One Lac Eighty Thousand only) per month. Good career advancement exists for the candidates once they acquire additional licenses and experience as per the FTE scheme of AIESL. The post also carries other benefits such as Insurance based Medical Facility, Provident Fund, and Gratuity etc. as applicable, as per rules
Selection Procedure:
  • Applicant meeting the eligibility Criteria may WALK-IN for an interview on 20th September 2017 (Wednesday) at MUMBAI between 1000 Hours and 1600 Hours at the following venue: VENUE: AIR INDIA ENGINEERING SERVICES LIMITED, NEW ENGINEERING COMPLEX, NEAR BAMAN WADA & AIRPORT COLONY, NEXT TO METEOROLOGY DEPT NEW QUARTERS, SAHAR VILE PARLE (EAST) MUMBAI – 400099.
  • In case of reporting of large number of candidates, the interview for the eligible candidates may continue to the next and subsequent days. Candidates reporting for walk- in interview may take note of this and outstation candidates may be required to stay back on their own arrangements.
Walk-In Procedure?
  • Applicants meeting the eligibility criteria mentioned above as on Ist August 2017 are required WALK-IN to the venue mentioned on the date and time as indicated, alongwith the Application Form in the specified format (as attached), duly filled-in, in Hindi or English and requisite documents as indicated below with non-fundable Application Fee of Rs.1000/- (Rupees One Thousand Only) by means of an A/c Payee Demand Draft in favour of “Air India Engineering Services Limited, payable at Mumbai  Please note that no fees are to be paid by Ex-Servicemen/Applicants belonging to SC/ST communities. Please mention your full name and the post applied for, on the reverse of the Demand Draft.
  • A recent (not more than 3 months old) colour passport size photograph of full face front view) should be pasted neatly in the space provided in the application form. C) Self-attested copies of supportive documents in respect of : 01 Educational Qualification (i.e. SSC, HSC, 1st year, 2nd year and 3rd year
    Graduation or higher education with mark sheets, as applicable. 02 Date of birth proof (original school leaving certificate or attested photo copy, duly signed by the Principal of the same School/College and SSC passing certificate/mark sheet.)
  • The short listed candidates will be considered for engagement on the fixed term contract basis, subject to their medical fitness prescribed for the post. The selected candidates may be posted in any station/region/MRO of AIESL. Candidates will have to bear the post of the pre-employment medical examination(s).
  • Any additional tests, if required, the additional cost thereof will also have to be borne by the candidate. Reservation and concessions/relaxations to SC/ST/OBC/Ex-Servicemen candidate would be extended as per Government Directives in the matter.
  • SC/ST candidates fulfilling the requirements and appearing for Personal  Interview, residing beyond 80 kms. from the Test Centre and not employed in any Government/Semi-Government/Public Sector Undertaking or Autonomous Bodies will be reimbursed second class to and from rail/bus fare by the shortest route as per rules, on production of evidence to that effect. Applications which are unsigned/incomplete/mutilated/received after the prescribed WALK-IN date and time/not in person, will be rejected.
  • Applications sent by email / post will not be considered. The applicant must ensure that they fulfill all the eligibility criteria as on 1st August 2017 and that the particulars furnished by them in the application are correct in all respects. Candidates failing to bring the relevant original and photocopy of the testimonials will be disqualified.
  • At any stage of the Selection Process, if the particulars provided by the candidate in the application or testimonials supplied are found to be incorrect/false or not meeting the eligibility requirements prescribed for the post, the candidature is liable to be rejected and if appointed, services terminated without giving any notice or reasons thereof. NOTE: Canvassing by or on behalf of the candidate or bringing political or other outside influence with regard to their engagement/selection will be considered a DISQUALIFICATION.
